I had ScreenAway blinds installed 6 months ago.The salesman was excellent, explained everything in detail, went through what options were available for … read more my particular window styles, including sliding door setup, which normally is a difficult open to fit to.All windows were fitted with a block out and sheer blind apart from the sliding door combination and bathroom.The sliding door required a motorised blind due to the size of the area and heaviness of the blind fitted.The measure appointment went well, and installation appointment was 6 weeks later.Installation was reasonably quick 4 hours to do 9 windows and 13 blinds. Only issue I had was the tradesman doing installation didn’t clean up after himself with swarf filings found in nearly all windows.

The process does take long so if you want something immediate just be aware of that, they are upfront about this during the quote stage. You get a year warranty with your purchase which is great. They deal with everything so they have you as a client, you call them for help or questions if needed, never dealing with third parties. Overall I highly recommend.

You do need to follow these points to prevent issues. Probably not great if you have younger children.The blinds block out most of the light, which will be amazing for shift work. I am so far very happy. I've put some sheer curtains up to give a bit of privacy when the blinds are up.Just to add to this now I've had them for a couple of weeks and done several night shifts, it's been life changing for sleeping in the day. I can actually get some descent sleep now as it feels like night time. Wish I did this year's ago.
